4d movie theater orlando11/29/2023 Some weird homeless old people, had taken our seats. Was there tonight with my brother and cousin, to watch the new Avengers. And that was from my bank provider not the theater (denied me my refund). And it took me reporting the theater to get the charge returned. I have reported the theater to Bank of America for fraudlant charges. Years of attending and 1 bad experience for fraudlant charges has caused me to never come again. I will NEVER recommend this theater again. I will never buy tickets again from the Cinemark app due to these fraudlant charges and the company and managers not caring to fix the charges.Īttached is an image of my bank statement proving that there were 3 total transactions and only 2 were refunded. Even when showing the bank statement showing a double charge and for the manager to deny a refund that is clearly processing. Out of all the times conning to this movie theater i have never experienced such poor service. I had clearly showed him my bank statements and he bluntly ignored them. He again repeated to me that I needed to contact corporate to get the other 30$ refunded to my account. But for some reason the incompetent manager could not refund the second charge they have on my account. My concession was refunded in full (remind you it was still a processing payment in my account!) And 1 set of my movie tickets was refunded for the price of 29.62$ (again remind you the payment is still processing in my account). After being told that I asked for an entire refund for my tickets and concession. The manager i spoke with named Ryan Woerner said that because the payment is processing in my account there is nothing he can do and that I need to contact corporate. Just to find out that Cinemark Artegon has charged my debit card twice for the movie tickets. Everything was very clean and tidy I suggested to the management that they put up signs for people who are visitors to the area because this is a tourist area.Paid 30$ for 2 xd tickets. The employees behind the concession stand were very nice and helpful. The bathrooms are OK but could use a little bit more attention. I would love to come back and experience the theater when I can actually get popcorn and a drink. The actual experience was amazing and I was happy within just a few minutes into the movie. I arrived really irritated but luckily there was no line and I had enough time to get into the theater while the previews were still going on. I had to go down an elevator, across and then up an escalator, and then back behind another restaurant. In the parking garage, I had no idea where to park or how to walk to the theater. There was no U-turn areas around so I had to drive a few minutes out of my way. I did not know I had to park in a parking garage before the theater. I ordered my ticket online which was easy but getting to the theater was so irritating that I was completely frustrated by the time I got there. I wanted to try out this theater because it had a 4D Experience. This kind of stuff is great for like 15 minute theme park films but not a whole two hour movie. I honestly am so glad that I saw Ready Player One last week and didn’t have this be my first experience with it. ![]() Oh, did I mention it’s in 3D? So after getting rained on, you had to take your glasses off and wipe them off in order to see. Also, in a scene where it was raining, they had it rain in the theater for a solid 30 seconds. I think the theory was that they would simulate lightning or camera flashes but all it did was light up the whole theater taking you out of the moment. There were these weird flashing lights that would go off. It got so bad that someone went and got a theater employee who came in and said, “oh there is just something wrong with the program, it will stop when the movie starts.” The water effect was also aim right at my lap, which was just super awkward, luckily you could turn that off. After we sat down, the seats would violently vibrate every 5 minutes and then would proceed to poke us every 30 seconds. The seats would also vibrate and had pokers in them. ![]() I left the theater and my tailbone was it so much pain. Every time I would finally find a spot that was sort of comfortable, the seat would shift downward almost knocking me out of the seat. Which caused me to spend most of the movie leaning on my friend so that I didn’t get to close to the stranger sitting next to me. They were kind of small and were uncomfortably close to the seat next to you. Imagine having to sit through Shrek 4D at Universal for 2 hours. The 4DX theater is probably one of the worst movie experiences I’ve ever had.
